Hi everyone

It’s been awhile since the last update on our blog as we’ve been busy with transforming our hip and chic bistro for the one past year. Now that we’re back, do join us in the adventures of all the individual G4′ers who’ll share their experience with you on the Singapore Story.

Do contact us if you have any queries about staying with us in Singapore or even simple things like what can you do. Uh, yes we may be small, but there’s really a lot a lot of things you could really do here. Rest assure!

Tis’ a season to be jolly, falalalala. lalalala!

G4 Team will be organising a Christmas potluck and invites all guests that are with us to tuck in! Our dinner time will be at the ground floor, but feel free to chill on The Roof if you need to smoke or booze away with your own or order from Backyard Bistro that merry night!

Among the food that will be present includes…

Hongkong cookies from George, Local Agar agar delights from Steven, Lots of red wine from Low, Spaghetti from Waren, Turkey from Leo, Local friend rice from John, Local Agar agar(again) and muffins from Jernan, Appetizers from Valencia, Soup and Indonesian Kuay Lapis from Merry, Chinese Dumplings from Nicole, Home cooked Curry from Thaik, Chicken Feet (don’t ask me why) from Lixing and yummilicious Chicken/ Shepherd’s Pies from me.

We still have a number of unconfirmed lists of food since some of our personal friends are joining us and the requirement of them to join us is the same, chip in a dish! So enjoy yourself with us till the clock strikes 12 with our brand new Monopoly, Scrabble, Jenga blocks, Nintendo wii set (with 4 controllers, which means all of you are allowed to punch each other virtually)  and many more.

The Good News

Guess what? Yes! Our price per person for our dormitories has been reduce as of today! The new rate (Please check our website) is to be launch with our official grand opening on Sat(181008).

The Grand G4 Station Opening

Ok ok, let’s get back to our grand opening on Sat(181008). Although it is my off day, but still make the effort to come down and join this ceremony as i felt it was a important day for G4 station.

G4 Station Team Cheese~!!

Oh gosh! It was damn crowded that fateful day haha..Even though the Air-con was on full-blast and at the lowest, i still feel the same inside or outside the building lol..The Start of the ceremony begin with the blessing from the Chinese lion dance and Kirin dance. It is believe that the noise =.= they make will ward off all evil and eventually bless this place with good luck..It ended with “cai qin” and arranging a quote in Chinese using orange which is ”Yi ben wang li” which mean prosper to your business..Sorry for the noise cause to the guest who were here that day. After that, there is this traditional ritual going on by the monk we invited to bless this place, each and every room of our building must be open so that bad luck goes away and good luck will enter. I did not follow, but what i saw is the monk started a series of chant and the guest followed them around the building. (Didn’t manage to take the pic of the monk cause they were shy) lol

After that it is buffet time!! Hm..no photo of the food we ate blame our photographer!! Just joking Jody=p Chill chill=) Anyway after that is a series of photoshooting and some games at our Backyard Bistro muahaha..I am going to end this with a series of photo..Thank you for spending your time reading this ^^ Have a nice day!
