The Night Festival is back! It’s a Saturday and Sunday evening thing, party till late! From Fri 10 Jul 2009 - Sat 11 Jul 2009, 7.30pm - 2am, go in for an outdoor extravaganza  of theatrical performances with live music and dance, and experience delightful interactive light installations created in and around the hem of Bras Basah. Taking the centre stage this year, is Bersama Hijau, one of the Singapore acts, which consists of dance, percussion and vocals by 80 talented performers.

Best of all, ADMISSION IS FREE!

In view of The Singapore River Festival which will commerce from the 19-27 June, there will be free weekend river taxi ride onboard the Singapore River Festival Party Boat and weekend shuttle bus service from Orchard Road to Clarke Quay on the Singapore River Festival Bus, including numerous free-admission Festival events, are planned to make the Festival affordable and within reach to most festival-goers.

So what’s the occassion?

Free Cone Day was first celebrated back in 1979 to reward staffs and customers in the best way they knew how- by serving up a tasty tub of thanks free to everybody.

F1 Formula, Singapore

TICKET prices for this year’s Formula One SingTel Singapore Grand Prix have increased, but fans can get them at a bargain in early-bird tickets.

They will pay from 7 per cent to 26 per cent less for tickets in six categories including the Pit, Turn 1 and Turn 2 grandstands if they buy tickets early… More on Straits Times Interactive

Good news is that if you book your tickets early, you can still get a discount as compared to last year. As compared with last year, they have new turns, more seats for the fans.

As I look through the Singapore Grand Prix official site to try and book the tickets,

Ticket Sales will commence on 9 April 2009 for selected grandstands. Bay Grandstand and Walkabout tickets will be available from 20 April 2009.

So bookmark your calendar on the 9th of April 2009 and start looking for accommodation here in Singapore!

I’ve always wondered how would it be like to feel the surroundings in darkness.  

Thus, i’m pretty excited and also i hope Mother Earth will love our little gift for her. (: 

In line with this significant worldwide event, a countdown carnival, EARTH HOUR @ THE BAY will be held near the Singapore River.

Within the carnival, there’ll be exhibitions, performances, games and finally, witness the Singapore’s skyline’s first ever large scale lights off participation in this 3-year old global event. If you do have time, pop by and join in the fun!  (:

For those that have no idea what is it, please refer here

*Attention* - To all those guest that will be coming to G4 Station for accommodation on the 28th March. Please take note between 8.30pm-9.30pm we will have to switch off all the light, and if possible our air-con and computers will be off too (do not worry, you can switch it on if you feel warm or bored) Our deepest apology for any inconvenience cause, but we do hope that our guest will join us hand in hand during this event.

We have only one mother earth and imagine how much lifespan we can prolong her if the whole world cut electricity usage for just one hour. Although it is something small but let us do  a part in saving our earth from global warming issue. G4 Station definitely support this idea and we hope others will think so too.
